چکیده

In this study, a new method to prepare polyvinyl alcohol (PVA) hydrogel-based woven fabric composite is presented. method, the was first stitched with PVA yarn and then subjected borax solution for simultaneously dissolving crosslinking PVA. The prepared chemically, mechanically, thermally characterized. FTIR analysis performed confirm of on reinforced surface. X-ray diffraction carried out investigate crystallinity composite. An optical microscope used surface morphology composites. Moreover, DSC done thermal characteristics mechanical fluid absorbency were analyzed effect concentration tensile strength water results showed that rigidity increased by increasing content in

Mechanical Properties of Composite Materials Made of 3D Stitched Woven-knitted Preforms

This article presents an experimental investigation carried out to understand the mechanical behavior of composite materials made of 3D stitched woven-knitted basalt fabrics. The innovative preforms used consist of two outer layers of a plain woven fabric combined with two inner layers of weft-knitted fabrics. The weft-knitted fabrics selected for the study were varied plain knit, 1 × 1 rib, Mi...

Effect of Yarn Twist on Young’s Modulus of Fully-green Composites Reinforced with Ramie Woven Fabrics

INTRODUCTION Today, development of materials technology using biomass is expected for creation of a sustainable society. Especially, the composite consisting of plant-based natural fibers and biodegradable resin, so-called the fully-green composites, is much expected for practical use. So far, we made textile green composites using biodegradable resin and plain woven ramie fabric and explored t...

Multifunctional graphene woven fabrics

Tailoring and assembling graphene into functional macrostructures with well-defined configuration are key for many promising applications. We report on a graphene-based woven fabric (GWF) prepared by interlacing two sets of graphene micron-ribbons where the ribbons pass each other essentially at right angles. By using a woven copper mesh as the template, the GWF grown from chemical vapour depos...
